New Speakers, New Laptop yet my speakers are cracking need help please?

I purchased an Acer Aspire 7745 g series laptop 2 days ago. Along with this laptop I purchased Amadeus home surround sound speakers. I got 4 speakers (2 front and 2 rear) along with a subwoofer. I needed to by a converter for my audio jack since I had 2 cables that needed to be plugged into the laptop and only had 1 audio jack. The first day it worked perfectly fine. The next day i started to get crackling in my rear speakers that are mounted to my wall. I have re-wired everything twice to make sure they are all in properly. I switched my sound to 5.1 speakers in control panel also. PLEASE HELP!!!

Paint removal from boots?

Ok, so I asked someone to dye a pair of boots for me, but instead she put latex house paint on them. The boots are the Corcoran Marauder style with leather toe and heel, and either cotton or nylon everywhere else (more or less). The paint is comming off of the leather areas just fine (where it could actually stay, as far as I'm concerned), but has deeply d (not all the way through) the fabric, making it stiff, gummy, and, critically, ruined its vapor permeativity. My tentative plan is to soak the boots in OOPS for a day or two and then wash them out a few dozen times. My concern is that the OOPS may degrade the fabric or rubber soles, or otherwise destroy the boots. Does anyone know what to expect, or have any better ideas for getting the paint out? I had the boots custom made when I was in Korea, and would like to recover them if possible.

Grilling or smoking, im really lost on this?

i have a smoker which i use to grill by putting the lowest rack close to the charcoal pan. but i dont understand the whole idea about smoking, i know it adds flavor from the smoke of wood. but i also know meat is supposed to be cooked to certain temperatures to be safe. i have even heard the term cold smoking where the meat doesnt reach anywhere close to cooking temperatures. is the meat supposed to be smoked first and then cooked to proper temperature or cooked and then smoked. i make my own jerky in a dehydrator that only gets up to 130 degrees which is under the proper cooking temperature for beef. ive never gotten ill. is it the salt in the cure? does meat in a smoker have to have a salt cure first? i am also curious about pre packaged beef jerky, how can it sit un refridgerated for a few years and still be safe to eat.

I will add some more Big 10 bashing to the mix. If we look towards the last two national championship games, I think that it is abundantly clear that Big 10 schools do not belong. The OSU Buckeyes have been the consensus best team in the Big 10 for the past 2 years, and look at what happened to them in the National Championship. Now come all of the people who say, will Penn State is obviously a good team. BS, they are just like OSU, walking through an extraordinarily weak schedule. While I do think that there are other weak conferences, I think that these conferences rarely get any consideration for the National Championship game, whereas the Big 10 does. On the whole, I don't necessarily think they should be BANNED from the game, but I do think precautions should be made against them. As I have said before, I think that in order for a Big 10, Big East, or ACC school to be put in National Championship contention, they should have to play tough (i.e top 10) competition in the form of Big 12 or SEC schools during their non-conference schedule. Only after ping those tests should they be allowed admittance to the NC game.

Weird Symptoms, please help!!?

Well I've had a "rash" since october on my neck/bellow neck/stomach. I don't know what it's from but it's basically pink, tered, slightly raised "splotches" they're not too noticable- but will not go away. Also, I've begun noticing a large(in diameter), but not VERY raised, lump-ish thing on my lower back (normally where your back is slightly caves in right before your ). It's probably 2 1/2-3 inches in diameter, and only a little bit raised. also it is painless. What are these things? Should i see a doctor or be concerned? also are the two conditions connected??

I have been invited to several baby showers where mom-to-be registered quite early in the pregnancy. It is very hard for people to shop from a list made so far in advance. Hi, I am currently living in Colorado Springs with my sister and brother in law while I attend the local community college. They will be soggy no matter how they are defrosted. It is always better to use fresh fruit. But, the only thing you can do it to stick them on the skewers right before the company arrives. Leave them frozen. It doesn't take long to defrost and fruit isn't real hard when it is frozen so they can still eat it like that and it won't be soggy.It will be good and cold that way. If it defrosts a little before it is served it will still be OK.

Sounds like you need to find a counselor, if you attend church that's a good place to start and you won't have to pay for anything for counseling with a pastor (or you shouldn't). I'm sure how much to say because some things may just cause you to get deeper into a funk, but I try anyway. First, please don't offense to anything, I am not a hold-your-hand and pat your head sort of person. You need to realize that being pregnant and having a baby means thinking about that child first and foremost and that baby really doesn't care about your plethora of excuses for your actions, that child needs you to get up everyday with every intent on doing what's best for them. That means, eating when you know you are supposed to eat, if you can get a small fridge to keep in your room away from others and keep it stocked... if you can't hide away fresh fruits and veggies and things like granola bars and nuts and healthy cereals that don't need refrigerated. Go for a walk everyday, fresh air does wonders for your mood. If you want the house clean get up and start making an effort--- it's tough, I'm about the only person who cleans in my house and whenever anyone lifts a finger they practically need a parade to commend their efforts, but I have a son living in this house and I don't want him around filth so I do it myself. You just gotta wake up and decide you are done making excuses for yourself and do what you can.

You have to give 2 weeks notice before you leave this daycare. The last week my daughter was there I told them it would be her last week (weeks prior I had told them that she would be leaving soon, I was just waiting on the apartment agency to finalize my paperwork). Now, she is refusing to give me my yearly report and her Federal Tax ID Number so that I can file these taxes until I pay her another week. The daycare is Little Rascals Child Care in VA. Also, in the contract it says after a child has been at the day care for a certain number of weeks/months they are eligible for one week off. (this place makes you pay even if the child isn't there - now they wont even count that as the week they want pay for and that it's only under their discretion).I have done the free searches and I can't find the EIN anywhere online. Gatorade or Water?

Whenever I hunt out west, I always use a hydration pack. I have found it is a lot easier than carrying bottles. I probably walk anywhere between 3 to 6 miles a day and it is not all level ground. We hunt from 9000ft to 11000ft in the rocky mountains and for those of you who are familiar with the rockies, you know how the terrain can range from a level meadow to a rock bar that seems impossible to climb. The bottom line is, I exert a lot of energy and it can sometimes be hard to catch my breath. So drinking plenty of fluids is a must. However, which is better for this kind of activity? Should I fill my hydration bladder with gatorade or water?

Itching around the area?

About a month ago I went to my doctor b/c I had terrible itching around my . Before going I tried every over the counter creme you can imagine. He gave me a creme for the itch and just to be sure I didn't have pin worms he gave me some pills to get rid of them. None of that worked, so I went back and he gave me a stronger creme that still had no affect. He did tell me that using baby wipes after a bowel movement could have irritated my area. I quit using them and the itching seemed to ease up a little bit. As my luck would have it the itching has come back and its worse now than before. Just to clarify, I don't itch in the , just around it and in the crack of my cheeks. Can anyone please help with this issue? It's been driving me crazy for almost two months now and the constant itch is starting to affect my attitude and morale. Please help!

What do you do for a cut, swollen lip on a 15 mth old?

My 15 mth old fell & cut her upper lip on the corner of a floor shelf. The bleeding stopped quickly but her lip is very swollen around the cut. She doesn't seem to be in pain (I gave her Tylenol) but it looks hideous!! I tried putting a baby icepack on, but she wouldn't let me. i saw a tv ad where they compared propel fitness water to the more, from my observations, popular vitamin water. i am seeing more people with vitamin water (in different flavors) next to them while they work and exercise. though i havent seen as much of the propel stuff around, the ad gave me something to think about. it showed that vitamin water has 100x times more calories than propel (250 cals vs. 25?), so it consequently will take more out of your time to work off the extra calories. is this a selling point for propel and should i be drinking it instead of the vitamin stuff? ive always thought that plain old water was all you needed by your side to replenish and revive our bodies after any workout. plus, ice mountain tastes better and is cheaper by the dozen than any either of these two concoctions.

I feel a bit silly for asking but it is driving me nuts...?

Hey moms...question from another (very hopeful) mom here. I have had very regular period for a long time now, they come on the 19th or 20th like clockwork. My period was due 2-3 days ago, and a little over a week ago I experienced some light pink spotting when I wiped. The issue is, my husband has never d inside of me....so my question is could I have possibly gotten pregnant off of pre? I have a 5 yr old daughter, and I have been scrambling my brain trying to remember signs or symptoms or anything to clear my head. Has anyone experienced this? More often than not, they are the only qualities characteristics we see from religion. Imperfection doesn't mean we don't take responsibility for our actions. I was in harvey norman checkin out tv's im not sure weather they where plasma or LCD's, but there where right next to each other, and one looked a lot brighter and a lot clearer than the one next to it, the one next to it was darker and slightly duller. well Ive never heard of a doctor recommending nutmeg but. I suppose you could boil it. All you can do is try and see if it works, but you should really call your doctor and ask. I have also read that anything over a teaspoon can be fatal, so if you start to feel like you need more then you need to speak with a doctor as these are signs of dependency. Hope it Helps.

Okay i'm trying to play scrabble online at pogo.com, and the pop up window keeps closing and saying there's a problem. And im positive that the problem is with java. So i went and tried to download java, when i did a window popped up saying "1500 installation already in progress". So after that failed i tried deleting java completely off of my computer, it wouldn't let me. How do i get java off of my computer completely. i honestly think this guy is a shady character you guys haven't really known each other that long from what im reading and he already wants to bump you. I need desperate help on my teeth.?

Yes, it's kind of embarring to say this but... my family is on the Pennsylvania Access Card. Since my family has low paying jobs. My dad got me the Access Card for medical needs. I think that's great so now I can go to the dentist and the doctor for free. But, the BIG problem is that there are HARDLY any dentists in the area that accepts the Access Card. Since my teeth are slightly crooked, my front tooth overlaps from another, I kind of get embarred. Mostly that in school I like to laugh and try to smile. Unfortunately, I can't since if I slightly smile my tooth shows. So, I asked my father to take me to the dentist so I may get braces. Sadly, many of the dentist around here to not accept Access Card. I went to one around this town called Lewisburg.. but that is for children 12 and bellow. And I am over the age of 12. My dad took me to almost every dentist but they don't accept Access Card. My mom told me I should check online but, I can't seem to find ANYTHING. The only hope I cant get is if I ask ACTUAL people. I hope someone may help, because once the school year starts I hope I may get braces by then. I really hope there are some dentists that accept Access Card, or else, my dad might have to pay with money... and braces are VERY EXPENSIVE.

Having trouble taking vitamins, feels like I get a lump in my throat when taken?

I don't know what is wrong, it all started about 1 year ago. I had this problem like I had a lump in my throat. I had a thyroid scan and an ultrasound on my thyroid and everything looked fine. Then I went to a gi doctor to have an upper endoscopy done and everything looked fine there too. It really flares up and sometimes can be painful when I take vitamins or drink one those vitamin enriched drinks, sometimes it even feels like the lymph nodes in my neck get swollen as well and in conjunction with feeling of lump in my throat and feeling like my lymph nodes are swollen and it can be sometimes painful. Mainly it flares up real bad when I take vitamins. I am not pregnant and I can't take the vitamins because I am afraid its going to aggravate it. Anyone have any ideas on what it is? I know I should tell my ob/gyn about it but I don't see her until next week. Anyone have any ideas? Please help!

Help - depressed, have no friends, 18 years old in first year of uni?

I honestly don't know why I have resorted to posting my thoughts here but I think I just need to vent as I feel so incredibly lonely and I am crying right now. I'm 18 and in my first semester of my first year in university - and I had to move away from my family into a college on campus. My course load is very hectic and i'm overly stressed because my exams are very soon and I havent studied properly - let alone learnt the new material. I just want to give up frankly. I've tried so hard in the past but keep failing in everything I attempt. My brain seems so foggy I cant remember anything that happens and I struggle a lot to learn new things. I'm also living on campus and the people here are making me feel terrible - they either make horrible comments about me or just make me feel like crap because of how awesome they are and how much they are living their life to the max. They hate it that I never go out and do anything - but I really want to just cannot because I'm getting really worried about everything (I also have social anxiety and am extremely shy and stupid) - especially because my exams are so close and I don't know anything. I'm not very smart at all - in fact i've been called dumb, stupid and been made fun of many times in relation to my intelligence. Therefore I hate everything about myself and hate university life too. I can't even write properly now as my thoughts are all jumbled and i'm struggling to even think. It feels like everyone has turned against me and i've been feeling like such crap and like such a loser since I started uni at the start of the semester. Jaw locking and limited movement?

For as long as i can remember i cant open my mouth completely without twisting my jaw, if i open it straight it kind of stops halfway and its like one of the bones are sliding against another very harshly. I ignored this but now my jaw keeps kind of locking in a weird position and i cant move it at all. And for some reason i always dream about my jaw locking as well, not just once or twice but extremely frequently even when i havent thought about it and in my dream its quite painful but when i wake up its fine. When this does happen (in real life) i just sort of relax and after a while i can move it again, Its happened quite a few time and is very painful. Also, once when i was younger (around 8-10) i woke up and one of my back teeth were crushed completely and was bleeding a lot that my dentist had to pull it out, but i cant remember the reason. I told my current dentist this and she just gave me some exercises but they arent working. Im only 15 by the way. Sorry if this is so long but i dont know if its all related or what.

Doctors and Nurses Please? Need Real Advice.?

I have a cardiac neurosis ..I have been told by doctors and nurses that im fine .no health issues but over time have developed this.I can't seem to let it go..I don't have clic heart symptoms although at different times I experience all of them more or less.I am taking meds and seeing a therapist and trying to cope..the doctors diagnosed me with depression although they knew that I had a brother that had a hidden heart condition that died 20 years ago at 44 .I have outlived him by 8 years.I am in good physical shape ,good weight,good blood pressure and strong heart and lungs clear but need reurance that its mostly in my head.i know this is a little much to ask but if you are a doctor or nurse please let me know what you think and if you need to ask further questions please contact me via email.I really need help with this and maybe someone that could tell me how to handle it would be helpful.I ask sometimes on yahoo but usually have people say go to the dr....Asking a dr or Rn plz
