Ladies only please! I had a hysterectomy last thursday and the area of the cut is numb. Is this normal?

I'm still very swollen and my lower back and abdominal muscles are very sore. Is there anything that i can do to easy the discomfort? I'm on oxycodone every 4 hours but doesn't always help. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
