Please Help. My location is interfering with my ability to find a g/f and get married?

Hi, I am currently living in Colorado Springs with my sister and brother in law while I attend the local community college. The problem lies within the fact that I am 28, male, caucasion, a military veteran, am not married, and do not have a g/f as it seems impossible for me to find anyone that's single in this town. I have noticed that all of the women that I go to school with here have boyfriends that they met while growing up and/or from high school. I am not originally from C-Springs and didn't go to high school here. I have never in my life dated due to being moved into a new school during my freshman year of high school and due to formerly being stationed in the sausage fest city of Jacksonville, North Carolina. Since I am a Marine Corps veteran and am from the South, I honestly DO NOT fit in here in Colorado Springs as well as where I go to college at the local community college. Do you all think that if I get accepted into the University of Texas or North Carolina that anything would change for me from a social standpoint? I do realize that working on getting my degree is important, but being 28 years old, I feel that I have waited on this city long enough in terms of trying to find a date and/or girlfriend. It is LITERALLY time for me to pack my bags and get the h*ll out of Dodge!
