Are you the person you are on here or is it a mask you adopt?

When you come on here, are you the person you really are underneath it all, protected by the anonymity of the internet and therefore able, for example, to misbehave or express yourself freely as you see fit, or does it change you into someone else? To extend that, do you really have an inner person who is the real you or are you entirely composed of "masks"?
