Loose tooth will it heal on its own?

I noticed the other day that one of my front teeth can move slightly its not very visible, i did wobble it abit to see if i wasn't imagining it. its only about a 2 millimeter movement, will it heal on its own and will the gum strengthen up to stop it from moving? thankyou in advance
