Is There any Irish Gaelic Grammar experts?

I understand with the d,t,l,n in Irish Gaelic, with the tip of your tongue is pressed against the upper teeth,I also understand these are broad consonats you do this, I just want to know is it at the beginning of the word or the middle or the end of the word?
