Do any of the Presidential candidates have a policy on the drug epidemics in the USA?

We obviously learned nothing from prohibition and we continue that same policy of illegality with drugs. We turn people who choose to use drugs rather then drink into criminals. Did you see the story yesterday about the ex Yankee who killed someone running a red light and then refusing a breathalyzer posted eleven thousand bail and walked out of jail, yet if I smoke a joint at home and I'm tested at work, I lose my job for something I'm doing in the privacy of my home. Let's face the truth, there are many people in this country who want to get high and will, illegal or not. Isn't it time we stop spending money on something we won't stop and start making money from this "problem"? Use the money for treatment instead of filling up our prisons with non violent people. If the government controlled the drug industry it would cut out the vast majority of violence from competition among the drug culture and people who are going to use drugs can do so without risk of prison and the people who choose not to, will continue to choose not to use drugs. It's very hypocritical to demonize drugs when alcohol is the number one drug of abuse in this country.
